United Christian Academy was founded in 2004. Jeremy Counts had an idea and a burden to tutor and help home schooled kids with their learning. He thought he could meet a couple days a week to help teach these children basic subjects. The day would consist of Math and History class for the older kids, a class for the kindergarten students, and also a study hall session where any of your questions could be answered. They also would eat lunch together and play sports during breaks. United Christian Academy was formed and met in a small church building where only a handful of children were tutored.
Little did Mr. Counts know how this would turn out.
The Lord blessed in unexpected ways.
Turns out the Lord had a plan of His own.
Mr. Counts didn't expect this, but it has been a blessing for everyone.
Praise the Lord!
Jeremiah 10:23 says, "I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps."
